Your agreement with Kuebird
These terms govern use of the Kuebird badminton queuing app and informational website. References to "Kuebird", "we", or "us" mean the service operator, whose contact email and location appear below. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Kuebird provides tools for accounts, queues, doubles suggestions, courts, session records, player statistics, clubs, and related features. Features vary by build, connectivity, role, and plan entitlement.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher age requirement applicable to you. If you are not old enough to enter this agreement on your own, a parent or guardian must give the permission required by applicable law and supervise your use.
Do not create an account or enter information for someone who is not eligible to use Kuebird. Organizers are responsible for obtaining the permissions needed for the player information they enter.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate registration information and keep it current. Use only accounts you are authorized to access. Keep your password and device secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your account role determines which Player and Queue Master tools you can use. Club roles grant additional permissions. Do not use a role, invite code, or shared device to access information outside your authorization.
Organizers, clubs, and player information
Queue Masters and club owners or admins are responsible for their session settings, player entries, invitations, role changes, and recorded results. Explain to players how you use their information and obtain appropriate authorization before entering or reusing it.
Use club and session information only for appropriate, lawful purposes. Do not disclose other players' personal information beyond what they reasonably expect or permit.
Archiving a club makes it read-only while preserving its members and history. Leaving or being removed from a club does not automatically remove its historical records. Account deletion is a separate request.
Queues, suggestions, and results
Match suggestions consider fairness, waiting and rest time, ratings, variety, and other session factors. They are recommendations that organizers can adjust. Queue positions, wait times, court times, win probabilities, and projected rating changes are estimates.
Recorded match results can change Elo, statistics, skill tiers, and leaderboards. Voided matches do not count toward games or Elo. Game-count corrections do not create completed matches or change global Elo.
Kuebird does not guarantee a particular opponent, playing time, balanced outcome, or uninterrupted access to a court. Organizers and venues remain responsible for real-world scheduling, facilities, fees, and session decisions. Raise incorrect results with the organizer or contact support.
Court costs and payment tracking
An organizer can set an optional cost per game and mark players paid or unpaid. These are management records, not payment transactions.
Kuebird does not collect court payments, store card or bank credentials for that tracking feature, or transfer money between players and organizers. Confirm charges and arrange payment with your organizer or venue. A paid/unpaid flag is not a payment receipt or a guarantee that money changed hands.
Free and Pro features
Free includes core queues, court and match controls, offline personal sessions, one active club managed as an owner or admin, recent completed histories, and basic summaries and leaderboards. Ordinary club memberships are not limited by the managed-club allowance.
Pro adds capabilities such as unlimited active managed clubs, complete histories, advanced club leaderboard filters, detailed online session analytics and trends, additional administration tools, recent guest reuse, and court availability windows. Pro access depends on a qualifying account entitlement.
Feature availability may change. We will communicate material changes and honor applicable purchase and consumer rights. A limited history view does not mean the underlying records have been deleted. Offline plan access may be limited when an entitlement cannot be verified.
Pro subscriptions and Google Play Billing
Pro is offered as a recurring subscription through Google Play Billing in supported Android builds. Availability depends on the app version, Google Play availability, and your account. This website provides information only and does not accept subscription payments.
The price, currency, billing period, and any offer conditions are shown in the app and Google Play purchase confirmation before you subscribe. Review those details before confirming. A displayed plan comparison does not authorize a charge.
Your subscription renews automatically at the interval shown at purchase unless you cancel through Google Play before the next renewal. Use the Subscriptions section of the Google Play account used for the purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals; Pro access continues for the remaining paid period, unless the purchase is refunded or revoked.
Uninstalling Kuebird, signing out, or requesting deletion of your Kuebird account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel separately through Google Play to stop future charges.
Cancellation does not automatically refund payments already made. Refund requests are subject to Google Play's refund policies and applicable consumer law. You can request a refund through Google Play or contact Kuebird support for purchase or access issues. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Offline use and local records
Offline personal sessions operate on the device. They do not support club sessions, QR joins, push delivery, cloud statistics, cross-device access, or later cloud synchronization. Their local Elo is separate from global online statistics.
You are responsible for safeguarding your device and its local records. Removing app data, losing the device, or uninstalling the app can remove offline information. Do not rely on later synchronization or cloud recovery for local-only sessions.
Acceptable use
Use Kuebird respectfully and lawfully. You must not:
- Harass others, impersonate someone, or enter player information you are not authorized to use.
- Attempt unauthorized account, club, database, or session access; bypass access controls; or distribute private invite codes without permission.
- Introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, or use automated activity that interferes with other users.
- Falsify results or payment records to mislead others, or misuse ratings, club permissions, or entitlement controls.
- Copy or distribute personal information obtained through the service for unrelated or unlawful purposes.
Content, intellectual property, and privacy
Kuebird's branding, application code, and website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. These terms give you permission to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of those materials.
You retain your rights in information you provide. You allow Kuebird to process and display it as necessary to operate the features you use, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Do not submit material that violates someone else's rights.
The Privacy Policy explains account, session, club, device, and notification information, sharing, retention, and privacy requests. These terms do not waive your privacy rights.
Availability and suspension
We work to keep Kuebird useful, but the service may be interrupted or changed for maintenance, technical issues, security, or other operational reasons. Internet access, device permissions, provider availability, and supported builds affect online features and notification delivery.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, unlawful conduct, or a security risk. We will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate, unless doing so would create a risk or conflict with law. You can contact us to question a restriction.
You can stop using the service at any time. Stopping use or signing out does not automatically delete an account; contact us for a deletion request.
Responsibility and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kuebird is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free estimates, or suitability for every session. Make reasonable checks before relying on a suggestion, result, or cost record.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer, privacy, or other statutory rights.
These terms do not replace your agreement with a venue or organizer. Contact the relevant organizer about real-world session arrangements, and Kuebird about the service itself.
Governing law and concerns
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. No provision removes a right to seek assistance from an appropriate regulator or court.
If you have a concern about Kuebird, contact us with enough detail to understand the issue. We will work with you to resolve it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate or required. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law and any separate purchase terms.
Review the updated terms before continuing to use the service. Where a change needs a separate agreement or consent, we will obtain it rather than relying only on continued use.
